Celtic have been the standout performers in the Scottish Premiership this season, but they currently face competition from Rangers in the race for the title.
The Hoops haven’t been at their best in recent times but they will still fancy themselves to get the job done, with the January transfer window helping their cause.
Indeed, the Glasgow club weren’t able to bring in many players back in the summer transfer window, but with plenty of improvements to be had at this moment in time, perhaps Peter Lawwell will splash the cash on a couple of additions.
With that being said, Rodgers will bag Celtic yet another treble if Lawwell launches a swoop for these TWO stars …
Timothy Castagne is one of the rising stars in European football, having enjoyed some success on the international stage with Belgium and at current club Atalanta.
The Hoops are in desperate need of a central defender as Dedryck Boyata’s future is currently surrounded with doubt, and they’ve struggled to keep things tight at times.
Castagne has shown that he can ensure defensive solidity in the current campaign and has plenty of potential still yet to be unlocked at the age of 23, so he could prove to be a valuable asset.
Tom Davies is arguably one of the most promising central midfielders in English football, but he just hasn’t been able to enjoy regular minutes under Marco Silva in the current campaign.
The Englishman is technically gifted and is an accomplished passer of the ball, which is something that Scott Brown has struggled with this season. And, with the ability to add to Celtic’s fast-paced attack with assists in the final third, he could definitely impact their title push massively.
