Celtic have been rather dominant in recent times as they continue to hunt down a third successive treble under Brendan Rodgers.
The Hoops struggled for consistency in the Scottish Premiership towards the start of the season, but they appear to be heading in the right direction after a number of positive domestic results.
Indeed, it’s vital that Celtic can continue to ensure consistency in what could prove to be a season-defining month, with the opportunity to mount a lead at the top of the table.
Although, with plenty of games still yet to come and a number of negative factors possibly coming into play, the Glasgow club could soon find themselves slipping away.
Therefore, here’s TWO things that could force Celtic to take a step backwards…
EDOUARD SUFFERS GOAL DROUGHT
Odsonne Edouard has been one of the standout performers for Celtic in the current campaign, with 11 goals and four assists to his name already. Indeed, it’s safe to say that he has been the source of all things brilliant for the Hoops after a rough patch towards the start of the season, so they’ll be heavily reliant on him to deliver the goods.
However, things could turn sour for the Hoops if the Frenchman suffers a dip in form during the month of November, with their title hopes and European future at stake.
EUROPEAN WOES CONTINUE
Celtic’s European woes continue as they just can’t seem to identify the winning formula in European competitions under Brendan Rodgers. The Hoops currently sit in third position in their group after three games, and remain three points behind RB Leipzig in second and six points behind Red Bull Salzburg.
The Glasgow club desperately need to enjoy a successful run in Europe, starting with tomorrow’s game against RB Leipzig, as they run the risk of exiting the competition if things don’t improve.
