Celtic have been the form team in the Scottish Premiership in recent times as they continue to impress under the guidance of Brendan Rodgers.
The Hoops have struggled at times in the Scottish Premiership and in Europe this season, but they finally seem to be heading in the right direction having enjoyed a rich vein of form. And, to make things even better, it appears as if Celtic have secured a big player agreement, as according to the Daily Record, Olivier Ntcham has signed a new deal.
Olivier Ntcham has sealed a new four-year deal to cap a great week for Celtic.
Indeed, the midfielder had been targeted by the likes of Porto and Marseille in the summer but has committed his future to the club by extending his stay until 2022.
“I’m delighted to extend my contract. It’s good news and I hope we’re going to win more trophies. It’s a great side and I’m glad to be part of the project.
“Having a strong bond with the players is very important for the team, and for the club. I feel good here and I hope we’re going to win more trophies and that we can be even more successful this year than last year.”
Olivier Ntcham has been one of the standout performers at Celtic Park over the past season or so, with a new contract being just rewards for his effort in the famous green and white.
Indeed, the Hoops will be delighted that they’ve managed to tie him down to a long-term deal as he could have been tempted by potential interest from a number of clubs in January.
