Celtic will be desperate to boost their title push by bringing in a couple of players this month, with Rangers already making a number of moves.
The Hoops have had to rely on the likes of James Forrest and Odsonne Edouard to produce the main load of assists and goals the current campaign, so reinforcements are definitely required.
However, it appears as if the Glasgow side could lose Forrest at the end of the season, as according to the Scottish Sun, Liverpool are weighing up a move for the Scotland international.
Indeed, the defending Scottish Premiership champions will need to go big in order to bring in a potential replacement for the winger as his contributions have been priceless.
With that being said, Celtic fans would forget about Liverpool’s summer target if Brendan Rodgers signed this STAR…
Alejandro Gomez has established himself as one of the standout performers in the Serie A over the past couple of seasons, and he is making a name for himself once again in the current campaign with seven goals and seven assists.
The Argentina international has the versatility to either play out on the wing or in behind the striker, with his pace, skills and incredible dribbling ability making him almost impossible to tackle.
Indeed, the 30-year-old would be an upgrade on Forrest as he has managed to put in world-class performances against some of the best defenders in world football, and he is able to provide plenty of experience and leadership qualities as the current captain of Italian side Atalanta.
