Our Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been in fine voice this season but things could get a little quieter with the print version of Corriere dello Sport (via Talksport) claiming Cesc Fabregas could be on the way to AC Milan.
The Italian side are in the midst of a takeover deal at the moment but the report suggests that once that is complete they will be looking to sign the Spaniard from the Stamford Bridge club.
Fabregas has been largely on the sidelines this season for Chelsea with Antonio Conte deeming him not suitable enough to play in the Blues’ 3-4-3 formation.
When he has come on, though, as our Blues punters will tell you, he has impressed and so they would like to see the former Arsenal man stay with the club.
It appears he will until the summer at least but by then the San Siro side’s takeover should be complete and our landlord thinks with their new money they should be able to make a seriously good offer.
