‘Sign a new contract then’ - Leeds fans react to star’s latest comments

Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are gearing up for their latest fixture in their play-off surge against Birmingham tonight.

The Whites have been going along well this season and are well on-course to at least finish in the top six come the end of the season.

What happens after that remains to be seen, of course, but it appears one man is very keen to be a part of it.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Charlie Taylor has revealed just how exciting times are at the club at the moment and how he wants to have a hand in proceedings.

Positive enough words, then, from the talented left-back but the overwhelming feeling amongst the club’s fan-base is that he needs to do more than just contribute this season and sign a new deal.

The defender is yet to put pen to paper and with the talent he has the club naturally want to see him stay with them than go elsewhere in the summer.

It’s something plenty have referred to on Twitter in light of his comments, too, though some are pleased with what he’s had to say and others would simply rather Gaetano Berardi keep his spot in the side.
