Everton fans in the Transfer Tavern are excited to see who the club will bring to Goodison Park in the summer window.
Our regulars are hoping for a significant improvement on last summer’s business with the majority of their signings failing to impress. With Marco Silva now at the helm and new director of football Marcel Brands in place, the Toffees can begin to strengthen their squad. A major revamp is needed if the Blues are to challenge for the top four next season.
The left side of attack will be an area of concern with Yannick Bolasie struggling after returning from injury and Ademola Lookman facing an uncertain future at the club. Adding a pacy winger to compliment Cenk Tosun up front will be a priority.
A smart move would be to raid Brands former club PSV Eindhoven for their star player – Hirving Lozano. Valued at £19.8m by Transfermarkt, the Mexican was a key player in their title-winning season. He netted 19 goals and notched 11 assists in all competitions and is set for a starring role at the World Cup with his country.
The winger signed with super agent Mino Raiola in April, therefore, it’s highly likely he will depart the club in the summer to make the next step in his career. Using his link with the player, Brands must bring him to Merseyside.

Lozano has blistering pace both on and off the ball which would make him a nightmare for Premier League defences. The former Pachuca man averaged 2.1 successful dribbles per game, according to WhoScored, highlighting his excellent dribbling ability. With an eye for a goal at just 22-years-old, he is the man to fire Everton to Europe.
Everton fans, thoughts?
