Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing what their side is going to do this season.
The optimism around the club really is at its highest level for some time and now the supporters are looking for Steve Bruce and the players to try and get things going quickly on the opening day.
For sure, many have Villa penned in as title favourites and with the strong mix of youth and experience that the club has now, you can see why it’s easy to think that.
Indeed, the likes of John Terry and Glenn Whelan will be asked to help guide the young talents like Andre Green and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy and it’s Green who has recently tweeted about his readiness for the get-go.
