‘Stupid,’ ‘Should not play the game’ - Newcastle fans react to latest announcement

Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern are far from impressed with some of the latest news emerging ahead of their game against Preston this weekend.

The Magpies are starting to get more and more agitated with things this season as they really are limping towards the promotion line at the moment.

Indeed, their loss at Ipswich last time out all but handed Brighton the title and now they face a game against a decent Preston side as they look to fend off Huddersfield.

And, ahead of that game, some Magpies are not happy with the refereeing appointment – Andrew Madley – who was born in Huddersfield.
