Reds fans here in the Tavern are pleased with their sides overall performances this season, but can only seem to think about what might have been if they’d managed to have signed a central-defender in the summer.
Jurgen Klopp has been on the receiving end of a whole load of criticism during his time on Merseyside, which can always be expected if things aren’t going perfectly. But his failures in the transfer window is something he’s going to want to change, as it came to haunt him with fans angered at their current defensive mess, after a lack of movement in the summer.
However, with the transfer window fast approaching, supporters here in the Tavern are looking for Klopp to sign a striker with Daniel Sturridge looking for a way out.
Indeed, recent reports in the Sun have suggested that Jurgen Klopp is willing to allow Daniel Sturridge to go out on loan during the January transfer window, as he looks to rescue a place in the World Cup squad.
Although he’s featured in over 10 games for Liverpool this season, he’s seen the majority of these come from the bench in what has been a frustrating campaign for ‘Studge’.
Therefore, with Sturridge looking to make some first-team appearances elsewhere, Liverpool are going to need to dip into the transfer market for a striker, with fans here in the Tavern suggesting that Klopp is to sign one of these TWO players.
Lukasz Teodorcyzk

The Polish striker has caught the attention of a couple of Premier League clubs with his impressive goal-scoring record of last season.
Lukasz scored 30 goals at a canter last season while providing 5 assists for his teammates, in the Belgian Jupiler League.
He offers many dangerous attributes with his tall-frame being one of them as he stands at 6ft1 inches, with his aerial ability, prolific finishing and terrific hold-up play continuing to see him perform at the top of his game.
Jurgen Klopp has had a keen interest in the striker over the course of this season, as Talksport suggested that the Reds manager is looking to chase down the forward.
Timo Werner

Timo Werner has become one of Germany’s biggest future talents after proving himself both domestically and on the international stage.
He just continues to get better-and-better as he’s already into double-digits for his goal-scoring tally at current club RB Leipzig.
The real reason that he’s able to become so deadly as a striker is down to his pace, finishing ability and his never say die attitude, a constant nuisance for opposition defenders.
Jurgen Klopp has always been fond of his fellow countryman with a prolonging interest in the attacker, but only recently has he come out to properly display an interest in the forward, after being linked with a move to Anfield.
Reds fans, thoughts?
