Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to the end of this season this weekend though it’s more because Birmingham could be relegated.
Villa have nothing to play for this season now, of course, but have finished it strongly but whilst they’ll be aiming to end on a high they wouldn’t mind seeing the Blues go down to League 1 on Sunday.
Whatever happens, though, Villa will be confident of a promotion challenge next season though it appears that will be without Libor Kozak who has been released – as confirmed on the club’s Twitter account.
Fans, then, were always going to react to this news and so, with that in mind, here is the best of what was said in light of the flop being shown the door:
