Some Sunderland fans were pretty livid with their team on Saturday, despite the 1-0 win over Shrewsbury Town in League One.
Charlie Wyke scored his 11th league goal of the season to give the Black Cats the three points (Transfermarkt). The victory sees them move up to seventh in the table, with them no sitting just two points off the play-off positions (BBC).

However, this was far from a stellar display against a side that is currently towards the bottom of the division. In the second-half, in particular, the Shrews were the dominant side, managing 55% possession (SofaScore). As the Stadium of Light side look to earn promotion to the Championship, Lee Johnson and the fans will be expecting better from their players between now and the end of the term.

Although they did come out on top, the club’s supporters were not scared to reply to a tweet from club’s official Twitter account upon the final whistle.
