Sunderland eye loan move for experienced Premier League forward

Dame N'DoyeOur punters here at the Transfer Tavern are in hot debate over whether this transfer rumor is a positive one or not, with the Mirror reporting that Sunderland are looking to make an January loan move for former Hull City forward, Dame N’Doye.

The Senegalese forward has been told by current club Trabzonspor that he can leave the Turkish side on loan in January due to problems with his pay.

N’Doye, who managed 5 goals in 15 appearances for the Tigers last season, will be hoping for better fortunes this time around, and will certainly not want to make it two Premier league relegations in a row.

Three games in charge for Sunderland manager Sam Allardyce seems to have given the former West Ham boss enough time to run the rule over his squad, where it is likely that he will look to bring in his reinforcements of his own, in order to implement his own style at the club.

Bar Sunderland’s derby day victory over Newcastle, the Black Cats have not exactly been prolific in front of goal, and fans will be hoping signings such as N’Doye will be enough to keep them in the Premier League.

Sunderland fans, would N’Doye be a decent addition to your attacking options? Let us know in the comments below!
