Yesterday, Sunderland’s official Twitter account signed off for the evening by putting a special tweet out in appreciation of the club’s gaffer, Jack Ross. Yesterday was National Boss Day and whilst it seems like a bizarre concept, the Black Cats weren’t going to miss getting in on the action.
Signing off tonight by paying our respect to this man.
Happy #NationalBossDay…

Whilst Sunderland on the pitch may not be leading the way in terms of their performances and level of football, off the pitch their media team is smashing it. In the era we live in with the likes of AS Roma’s English Twitter account and Bayern Munich’s US Twitter account, a lot can be learned about how club’s conduct themselves on social media and Sunderland are leading the way in terms of League One and probably all of England.
The fans all love their club’s Twitter account and last night it was again a tweet that the fans got behind. Most supporters love having Jack Ross at the helm and the ex-St Mirren man has shown what he’s capable of at The Stadium of Light as he’s got them sitting 5th in the table and in the play-off places despite the way the last two seasons have gone for the North East club.
