Although, the club will have one eye set firmly on improving the squad in the summer months after their sloppy start to the season, as they’ll look to start the next campaign strongly to avoid any repeat. Therefore, Bruce will be looking to bring a couple of star men to the club in the summer transfer window after seeing the positive effect that John Terry has had.

Joe Bryan currently plays his football at Ashton Gate for fellow Championship side Bristol City, and has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in English football after an incredible season with the Robins.
Indeed, the full-back offers electrifying pace down the left-hand side with his attacking and defensive qualities balancing out nicely, in a position that many of our local residents see as their beloved Villa’s weak point with Neil Taylor currently occupying the left-back position.
Therefore, Steve Bruce should urge Xia to bring Joe Bryan to Villa Park in the summer, to strengthen the Villains’ defence in preparation for another successful campaign next time round.
Charlie Austin
The former Queens Park Rangers striker currently plays in the Premier League for relegation contenders Southampton, but has struggled to find a way into the starting XI so far this season with a hamstring injury currently halting any progress being made.
Indeed, the Englishman has only managed to earn a starting place in six of his 17 appearances this campaign, but has played a key part in the Saints’ season with six goals to show for his efforts.
Therefore, Villa should look to bring Charlie Austin to the club in the summer months, as a proven goalscorer that could find the back of the net for fun if they secure promotion to the Premier League.
