Our Newcastle fans here in the Transfer Tavern cannot wait to see their side get back up and running in the Premier League this season.
After a campaign away the men from St. James’ Park are back in the top flight and they’ll feel that under Rafa Benitez they’ll be able to ruffle a few feathers.
Certainly, they’ll be eager to take the scalps of some of the big boys to mark their return whilst the away trips are going to be particularly exciting after a year of having to make do without them.
Indeed, the club always has strong travelling support no matter the distance but they’ve been handed a bit of a blow by Tottenham who – as per Chronicle Live – have made only 3000 seats available for Magpies fans when it comes to the league game at Wembley.
Fans, then, have reacted to this and so here is the best of what has been said:
A correction to an earlier story. Spurs made a mistake on their website. #NUFC will only be allocated 3000 @ Wembley https://t.co/tym6YcAv7Q

If That’s True, Disgusting. Spurs Will Be Embarrassing Next Season At Wembley.

Wait till the novelty has worn off for home fans. They’ll never fill it after October

3,000 away allocation at a 90,000 capacity ground that’s pathetic. Can Spurs sell 87,000?

Isn’t it supposed to be 10%? Or was that cup games

It’s easily solved opening game give them 567 seats they’ll soon change they minds

We won’t lower our standards just because they set their own so low. And nor should we. #NUFC
