The Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern were delighted to see their team return to form with a 2-0 win over Tottenham last weekend and they spent Saturday night celebrating in the bar.

Sadio Mane’s return to form was a timely boost for the Reds and their supporters now hope that the team can kick on and secure a Champions League berth for next season.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp still has a lot of excess deadwood within his squad and will no doubt be looking to trim it down during the summer months.

Every time an England squad is selected Sturridge tends to find his name on among the squad, and more often than not he actually starts in the team.

Arguably one of the most overrated players in the Liverpool squad is their centre forward and his form this season has been patchy to say the least.

One Reds follower is propping the bar up after a boozy session and he thinks that the time has come for Liverpool to offload the striker.

Certain Liverpool fans here in the Tavern have been raving about the performances of Lucas for the Reds, whilst others cannot wait to see the back of him.

It is quite bizarre really that the Brazilian has managed to forge himself a career at Liverpool for quite so long, given his inconsistent nature.

A group of Liverpool supporters are having a game of killer pool and they are in agreement that Lucas should be sold, stating that Klopp’s tendency to use him as a central defender is baffling.
