Newcastle fans here in the Tavern are hoping to escape the dreaded clutches of the relegation zone, with a drop down to the Championship being seen as a disaster.
Indeed, the Magpies haven’t enjoyed the best of seasons back in the Premier League, with inconsistencies and a shallow squad making for difficult times on Tyneside. But, this hasn’t been the only problem that supporters have had to feel the wrath of this season, as owner Mike Ashley’s stubbornness has caused issues both in the sale of the club and transfer window business.
And, their problems don’t stop there as youngsters continue to be written off by manager Rafa Benitez, in what’s proven to be crucial times at St. James’ Park. Therefore, many aspiring young players have been left to stagnate behind the scenes, causing for summer transfer window business to be inevitable on the departure front.
Therefore, with multiple exciting young talents seeking further improvements in their footballing careers, it doesn’t seem as if Newcastle United can accommodate successful futures.

Yasin Ben El-Mhanni

The 22-year-old was dubbed to be the non-league Riyad Mahrez during his time at former club Lewes, but is yet to be given the chance to prove himself under the management of Rafa Benitez.
And, the controversy surrounding Peter Beardsley and Yasin Ben El-Mhanni doesn’t help the Englishman’s cause, as his time on Tyneside thus far has been disastrous to say the least.
Indeed, with the highly-rated winger not receiving a sufficient amount of game time in Newcastle, a move away to another club would be the perfect solution to the situation, allowing for regular first-team minutes to provide the aspiring youngster with the best chance of progressing.
Adam Armstrong

Many of our local residents had high hopes for Adam Armstrong when he was on the brink of the first-team, but since Benitez has been appointed he’s been shipped out on loan to all corners of the country.
Indeed, his latest move has seen him rock up at League One side Blackburn Rovers, after a spell at Bolton Wanderers for the first part of the season. But, he’s finding it hard to rediscover the deadly goalscoring touch that showed so much promise earlier on in his career, as Premier League football looks to be way above his pay grade.
Therefore, a permanent move away from St James’ Park at the end of the season would be perfect for the striker, with a lower ranked Championship side offering a great challenge for Adam Armstrong.
