It has been a season to remember so far for the Liverpool fans here in the Transfer Tavern, with the Reds faithful joyful at what the rest of the campaign might bring under the stewardship of Jurgen Klopp.

The German boss has really got the Reds firing and his side have lost just twice during the whole season up to this point.

A group of Reds supporters can regularly be found exchanging pleasantries with supporters of other clubs here in the Tavern, and already the group have started to discuss potential January signings.

With the club looking to push Chelsea all the way for the Premier League title, Klopp will no doubt be looking to strengthen his squad in certain areas.

Kasper Schmeichel

After securing the Premier League title with Leicester City last season it was expected that Schmeichel might depart the King Power Stadium during the summer.

A move back then wasn’t forthcoming but right now Liverpool seem to have an urgent need to find a goalkeeper with genuine quality.

One Liverpool fan is sat tucking into a beer and a burger meal deal here in the Tavern and he thinks Schmeichel would be a class signing for the Reds this January.

Julian Draxler

The German midfielder looks set to leave Wolfsburg this January and Liverpool should be firmly in the queue for his signature.

With Philippe Coutinho out injured at present, Liverpool are in need of an injection of quality in the final third and the German could be just the man.

One Liverpool fan is sat chatting to our landlord here in the Tavern and he thinks that the player would be a great signing for the club, stating that his arrival would make Klopp’s men genuine title contenders.
