The local fans in the Transfer Tavern have come to the conclusion that Pochettino has much to ponder during the international break when it comes to match selection.
Spurs have made a pretty good start to the season as they sit proudly in 3rd position, after a positive 4-0 away win at Huddersfield much is still to think about as they lay 5 points adrift of the league leaders.
Tottenham started the season slowly with a mixed bag win, draw and loss in the opening 3 games of the season. This has been followed by 3 wins and 1 draw for Pochettino’s men, who look to be nearing the perfect form, but with the international break upon us and the European and Premier League fixtures set to hot up over the forthcoming weeks it’s time that Spurs start looking to rotate.
For many players who are currently in struggle town when it comes to buying game time for the club, the international break was a great time for these guys to show what their worth as they go off to their respective countries.
So with gaffer Pochettino keeping close tabs on all players heading into the break, it’s down to the fringe players to step up their performances as this could be make or break in terms of game time.
With a slightly easier task of Bournemouth at home as their next fixture, Pochettino may be open to change as the less fortunate players get a chance to prove their worth.
Without further a due, these 2 Spurs players should think about approaching the gaffer for an increased amount of playing time…
Harry Winks

In what is arguably going to be the biggest and most exciting few days of the young man’s career, the 21-year-old midfield maestro has been called up to Gareth Southgate’s England squad.
After making only 1 start with 4 appearances coming off the bench, the young starlet may feel hard done by as Pochettino hasn’t felt like he is deserving of a regular place of recent times. However, in the 4-0 away win at Huddersfield, the Winks made his first start for the club as he played the full 90 minutes, proving himself worthy of that national selection.
Offering a unique style of play, the midfield man likes to be a free-roaming central midfielder, as his game is very much built around both hard work and his passing ability.
In what is a very ambitious side with current injuries to Moussa Dembele, this man should feel confident in the Spurs gaffer giving an increased amount of game time as the midfielder will be high on confidence following his inclusion in the England squad.
Son Heung Min

The South Korean International proved himself to be one of Pochettino’s go to men last season after popping up with 21 goals in all competitions.
The tricky attacking player seems to have been under scrutiny of recent times as he struggles to find a regular place in the season this time round, with a change in formation for the Spurs side, as many teams resort to a 3-4-2-1 its removed an form of wing play which Son is best known for.
The Spurs man offers Tottenham a different dynamic going forward as he provides; pace, agility, impeccable dribbling skills and a strikers instinct which makes him a great attacking option moving forward.
After making only 2 starts this season and coming off the bench 4 times to score 1 goal, it is yet to be seen as to whether he has a permanent spot in this Spurs starting 11.
So Spurs Fans, do these two players deserve to be exposed to an increased amount of playing time?
