West Ham United fans here in the Tavern are desperate for their side to secure another season in the top-flight, as a run of negative results could put them in a spot of bother. 

Interestingly, the Hammers had one of the best squads heading into the current Premier League campaign after a busy summer, but former manager Slaven Bilic struggled to grind out positive results as relegation looked likely. But, David Moyes has been a breath of fresh air since taking over from the Croatian back in November, as only a disaster from here on in until the end of the season would see them relegated.

Although, the players haven’t helped the cause on the pitch as a couple of the club’s first-team members have been poor all season, with a major overhaul possibly being conducted in the summer transfer window. So, many of our local residents are desperate for their side to secure a European spot next season, as they feel that getting rid of any dead weight could launch them up the Premier League table.

Therefore, these TWO West Ham United players are to blame for the club’s awful season…

Aaron Creswell

Aaron Creswell has had his critics in the current campaign as he’s been far from his normal self, with a number of unconvincing performances making many of our local residents question his future.

Indeed, the Englishman has failed to replicate the brilliance of last season as one of the biggest liabilities in the squad, with Moyes’ decision to convert him into a central defender not working out.

Therefore, the Hammers will need to see some immediate improvements from Creswell from here on in, as producing a few more poor performances could see him depart in the summer months.

Javier Hernandez

The former Manchester United striker has made a terrible start to life in English football since joining in the summer, as West Ham United have been starved for goals when this man is leading the line.

Sadly, the Mexican has lost his magic touch in the current campaign with a small amount of goals to his name, as many of our local residents want to see him gone in the summer transfer window.

So without further ado, the 29-year-old has to be moved on in the summer after an appalling campaign, with his lack of goals causing all kinds of trouble.
