Raheem Sterling

Controversial- we know.

After a disappointing Euro 2016 campaign, City forward Raheem Sterling really does have a point to prove going forward this season.

He was lambasted by England fans out in France and back home, he still has some work to do in order to justify that £50m fee spent on him by City.

But we’re backing the former Liverpool man to kick on and do well for City this season. Pick him in your dream team and thank us later.

Vincent Kompany

This is a pretty standard pick for any fantasy dream team manager.

If Vinnie can stay fit, then he is arguably the best centre-back in the Premier League and Manchester City really don’t look like the same team without him.

Expect the Belgian to rake in the points this season.

Ilkay Gundogan

With Yaya Toure’s City career seemingly on its last legs, there is a big chance for this former Borussia Dortmund man to step up when he gets the chance to come into the side.

Gundogan is currently out through injury but when he does come back, he’ll be looking to shine from the middle of the park.

He’s our wildcard option in these three picks, but he could be fantastic.
