Tiemoue Bakayoko
The Frenchman hasn’t made the best of impressions in his first half of his debut season with Chelsea, although has had some slight injury concerns. Indeed, he needs to improve his game a lot to get to the level of the Premier League and start to impress boss Conte.
Defensively, he’s been out of sorts and he’s not really taken advantage of his athletic build and pace. With that in mind, Conte may look to offload the former Monaco man early, if he doesn’t see the improvement he needs.
Kurt Zouma
Since his loan move to Stoke City, Zouma has impressed and gained a lot of admirers. Having played every minute apart from the tie against Chelsea, the Frenchman may seek a more permanent move in his attempt for first-team minutes after getting the taste for it at the Bet365 Stadium.
Clearly not wanted by Conte by going out on loan for the season, this move would make sense.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek
The England international has been a pivotal part of Crystal Palace’s resurgence under Roy Hodgson and many have called for the midfielder to be recalled in the winter.
However, Loftus-Cheek may opt to make his move permanent to ensure first-team minutes and put himself in the spotlight going forward.
Going back to Chelsea, he isn’t guaranteed to start and play every week like he’s currently doing and, for a young man, playing each week may take priority.
