You’ve got to say, Jurgen Klopp certainly has a way with making his players happy – and his fans in the Football Transfer Tavern, too!
We’ve not seen anyone as passionate or animated on the touchline as the German perhaps ever in this country, but it seems to be rubbing off on both the players and fans – who are loving him.
Certainly, the Reds supporters in the Transfer Tavern are delighted by the transformation he’s managed to pull off with the squad, as he goes around bear-hugging anyone in a Liverpool top and joining in with as many celebrations as he can.
We’ve seen him break his glasses getting involved with scrums and giving players hearty back-slaps to let them know they’ve done well but, arguably, he’s missing out a couple of players.
He needs to make sure he doesn’t leave players out because they’ll start feeling dejected and our landlord reckons he needs to show these two, in particular, a bit of love…
Daniel Sturridge

This is a pretty self-explanatory one.
The England forward has seen his position as the undisputed striker taken by Roberto Firmino and that wouldn’t sit well with any player.
Klopp is treading a fine line with this one as if he doesn’t give Sturridge the game-time, he’ll be wanting out – and the Reds would surely want to keep a player of his talent on their books.
It’s up to Klopp, of course, but most want to see Sturridge fit in somewhere.
Mamadou Sakho

Sakho and Klopp haven’t seen eye-to-eye that much this season but you can’t deny the Frenchman’s love of the club – and that’s why the German shouldn’t give him the cold shoulder too much.
Yes, he was right to discipline him for his recent conduct but for the sake of everyone it’s time to move on and it’d be good to see Klopp chest bump the former PSG man in the near future.
What’s more, Sakho is an excellent defender – and Liverpool could have really done with his defensive stability in recent weeks.
Our landlord thinks a make-up between these two could be crucial for Liverpool this year…
