Mario Balotelli has become the talk of the Football Transfer Tavern after our landlord shows this viral image around and after looking at his scoring stats this season, we cannot blame our regulars for rolling their eyes and shaking their heads.
According to these stats, the forward has scored the same amount of goals as Hector Bellerin – Arsenal’s 20 year old RIGHT BACK. Yep, that’s right, their young defender. Not exactly good reading for Balotelli as he fights for his future with the Reds.
Balotelli may think of himself as super, but on these stats he is more useless in all honesty and we simply cannot see Liverpool wanting to keep hold of him in the summer unless something pretty dramatic happens between now and the end of the season.
