West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has improved his defensive options by bringing in Issa Diop and Ryan Fredericks this summer. And now the former Manchester City boss is hoping to make some midfield and attacking midfield additions in the coming weeks.
Jack Wilshere, Jean-Michael Seri and most recently Real Madrid’s Mateo Kovacic (via Tuttomercatoweb) have all been linked with a move to the London Stadium, while a deal for Lazio winger Felipe Anderson is in the works – although CalcioMercato claim West Ham are now facing competition from Chelsea for the Brazilian’s signature.
As well as the midfield trio above and Anderson, the Hammers are also interested in signing Sporting Lisbon’s Bruno Fernandes and have made a £20m bid for the Portugal international, according to Sky Sports.
Kovacic, Anderson and £27m-rated (via Transfermarkt) Fernandes are the type of players West Ham need if Pellegrini is to implement the attacking brand of football he’s promised, and the potential arrival of either would be fantastic business.

was meant to be one of Sporting's best players only saw a bit of him at the WC looked good on the ball so a solid cheap CM option so can't complain. Sporting are screwed with him being one of the players cancelling contract so will take what they can i guess
