Tottenham didn’t sign a single player over the summer and the fans are far from pleased about that, however, January signing, Lucas Moura had little game time at the back end of last season and his inclusion in the squad now has given the fans the feeling that he’s like a new signing.

Lucas started on Saturday against Newcastle and whilst he didn’t influence the game in the way he would have wanted it was still good for him to get a runout and stretch his legs so early in the season. The winger turns 26 today and he’s approaching his peak years as a player, meaning that the Lillywhites will be hoping he can get back to the form he found in his best years at PSG very soon.
Tottenham will be without Heung-Min Son for a few weeks now as the South Korean star will be playing for his national team in the Asian Games, leaving a spot available on the wing for Lucas to fill. The Brazilian livewire will have to play out of his skin if he is to maintain that place in the side when Son returns and the fans are backing him to be more than a good enough replacement.

The fans are keen to see Lucas come into his own in North London and will be hoping that he shines in Son’s absence.
