Tottenham fans will still be getting over the fact that they are finally home today after they moved into their new stadium yesterday. It may not have been a senior game, but the U18s recorded a win to set the stadium off to winning ways, and when Mauricio Pochettino came out and spoke at half-time the Lilywhites were in dreamland.

During Mauricio Pochettino’s interview at half-time, plenty of Lilywhites were quick to point out the 17,000 seater single-tier stand that was behind him in the shot, and they simply cannot wait until the whole thing is full and rocking with Tottenham fans singing their Argentine manager’s name. It truly will be special, and it all starts properly when they host Crystal Palace next Wednesday.
However, this whole project would have no life to it if the Lilywhites weren’t an exciting prospect on the pitch as well as off of it, and the only reason that they are where they are is because of the incredible work that Mauricio Pochettino has done. Without the ex-Southampton man, the Lilywhites would never be where they are now, and seeing him come out to speak yesterday was a special moment for the home fans in attendance.

The Lilywhites were truly in awe of the event yesterday and having Poch come out was the icing on the cake, and the days between now and next Wednesday when it opens properly set to drag as the fans count down the hours.
