Writing on Twitter and sharing his piece for the Evening Standard, Dan Kilpatrick has suggested who Tottenham could now target after the ‘fresh blow’ of Erik Ten Hag’s new deal at Ajax, with the reporter name-dropping Scott Parker as another on the managerial shortlist at Spurs.
Tottenham could now turn to Parker
Fellow Tottenham correspondent Alasdair Gold previously revealed Spurs’ interest in the 40-year-old, but he claimed the club were merely keeping tabs on him for a possible future role (football.london).

However, Kilpatrick has said that Spurs ‘could now turn‘ their focus to Parker as one of three shortlisted contenders alongside Ralph Rangnick and Graham Potter.
Parker is currently in charge at Premier League minnows Fulham, who languish in the bottom three, but his managerial style and personable man management (The Athletic) could be an attractive proposition for Spurs.

Reports suggest that Spurs are eager to hire an attack-minded manager with an exciting football philosophy after the Jose Mourinho era (The Guardian), and Parker is allegedly one of the candidates alongside the likes of Rangnick and Potter.
Former Fulham man Jim Hicks tutored Parker through his professional coaching licence and told The Athletic how the ex-Spurs midfielder is one of the most ‘exceptional’ managers he has taught. Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has also heralded the Cottagers boss for his courageous brand of football implementing ‘pace and organisation’ (mancity.com).
His style seems suited to Tottenham, but more seasoned figures like Rangnick could still prove far less of a gamble.
