Many Tottenham Hotspur fans have been debating whether Alasdair Gold‘s ratings were justified after the journalist decided to rate each of Mauricio Pochettino’s 27 signings during the Argentinian’s time as manager (via Football.London).
He gave the highest ratings to Dele Alli, Toby Alderweireld and Heung-Min Son, who all achieved a 10 score, whilst the lowest ratings went to DeAndre Yedlin and Pau Lopez, who both scored a 1 out of 10.
Some Spurs fans were disgruntled with other ratings given to certain players. Indeed, one fan thought that Fernando Llorente should have been ranked higher (he got a 6) and another thought that Kevin Wimmer’s rating was ‘harsh’ (he got a 4).
Other supporters thought that Gold was too generous on other ratings. Eric Dier was given an 8 which a couple of fans did not agree with and other supporters thought that Jack Clarke should not have been given a rating at all because of his lack of playing time for Spurs.

God this site you write for is an absolute nightmare on mobile. Agree with most of your rankings except a 5 for Vorm. Seems very harsh. He’s been here ~6 seasons and deputized very well for the first 4. Dier 8 seems a bit generous but probably nitpicking there.
