Some Tottenham Hotspur fans do not want Kristoffer Ajer after the Celtic man was linked with a summer transfer to the north London club, as per Sporten_Com (via Ricky Sacks and TranSPURS).
Ajer has made 57 total appearances in all competitions this season and has achieved an average rating of 6.78 on Whoscored. In the Scottish club’s Europa League campaign, the Norwegian international averaged 1.9 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 2.3 clearances and 0.3 blocks per game, stats which are amongst the highest in the squad (via Whoscored).
The 21-year old is only valued at £2.7 million currently according to Transfermarkt, but the report suggest that he could cost up to ten times as much.
Despite Ajer being dubbed ‘the next Virgil Van Dijk‘, these Spurs fans are not keen on the central defender, with a couple of supporters comparing him to the likes of Federico Fazio and Juan Foyth. These were the most shocking reactions on Twitter:
