As countries around the world enter various lockdowns to combat the outbreak of a virus around the world, the footballing community has moved to help in this time of need.
Indeed, the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City have donated £100k towards the city’s foodbanks while Zlatan Ibrahimovic has launched a €1m fund-raiser to help raise funds amid this battle.
Obviously, it’s simply brilliant to see the biggest names in this sport help out, even if it’s with a seemingly small gesture as nations all over the globe do their best to push through the difficult times.
Tottenham Hotspur’s gaffer, Jose Mourinho, did the very same thing as he was seen delivering food to a charity that helps elderly people amidst the current events in Enfield. As you can imagine, John Cross found it ‘absolutely brilliant’ and had to commend the Portuguese coach on his Twitter profile. The Special One indeed.
This is absolutely brilliant. Huge respect to José Mourinho on this https://t.co/RHLfRxH26K
