According to a report by Daily Mail journalist Sami Mokbel, Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho is unlikely to change his mind on Spurs star Dele Alli any time soon - with a January move away from north London to Paris Saint-Germain looking like a real possibility.

Alli, who has been left out of Mourinho's plans for much of this season, failing to make many matchday squads, last appeared for the Lilywhites during their 1-0 Europa League loss away to Royal Antwerp.

Alli could be set for move away

The Englishman was hooked at half time in the manager's effort to bring Spurs back into the contest whilst asserting much needed control, with Alli failing to make a single appearance since his brief cameo last week.

Having been left out many times under Mourinho this season, this Daily Mail report claims that Alli has grown dissatisfied with life on the sidelines - with PSG still interested in a loan move.

The Ligue 1 giants attempted to land the 6 foot 2 'beast' on multiple occasions over the summer, approaching Tottenham with three temporary offers which were all rejected.

PSG, however, would be interested in a fourth attempt when the January window opens according to Mokbel, with Spurs now facing the prospect of an 'incredible player' moving away.

A scenario which would leave one less option in the attacking third for Mourinho and co, former Spurs boss Harry Redknapp believes that Alli's situation at Hotspur Way is 'sad to see'.

Transfer Tavern take

Given how the midfielder burst on to the scene nearly half a decade ago at such a young age, Alli needing to go out on loan to find game time could be deemed a less than ideal situation for both the player and club.

The postponed European Championships are right around the corner next summer, and with Gareth Southgate having his pick of Premier League stars, Alli may have to move in order to work his way back into contention.
