Leeds could lose Jack Clarke this winter

There is no doubt that Jack Clarke has been excellent for Leeds United this season as they look to win promotion back to the Premier League.

The Thorp Arch graduate has been earning rave reviews for his performances when featuring in the first-team and it appears his displays have not gone unnoticed.

According to Football Insider, up to four Premier League sides are thought to be preparing to make a move for the 18-year-old.

There has been a delay in contract talks between Leeds and Clarke, which has given those clubs interested encouragement that they can sign him with a big money offer.

The youngster has played a key role for Marcelo Bielsa’s side this season, albeit from the substitutes bench, and has come up with a number of vital contributions.

The Verdict:

Leeds should look to do all they can to keep Clarke at Elland Road for as long as they can, however, delay in contract talks could leave Bielsa and the club with something to regret.

The teenager is one of the club’s brightest and hottest prospects to have come out of Throp Arch in recent years and definitely has a bright future ahead of him.

However, it appears that they could be on the verge of losing him and may find it difficult to turn down a big money offer.
