The Daily Express seems to have plenty of gossip for Chelsea fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think that the Blues are set to send one of their young starlets out on loan.

Turkish side Besiktas are reportedly considering making a bid for Nathan Ake on a permanent basis but Jose Mourinho and the Blues are keen on a loan deal for the Netherlands Under-21 international.

The Chelsea boss is well aware of the fact that the Blues will have problems with injuries and suspensions in the second half of the season and we think that it could well be Ake’s time to shine.

Besiktas do boast a good working relationship with Chelsea after Demba Ba previously made the move from West London to Istanbul during the summer and they are now planning to pick up the phone once again.

The Turkish Super Lig giants have also been strongly linked with the signings of Blues pair Kurt Zouma and Mohamed Salah this winter, and would love to add Ake to that list.
