It’s been a long time since we have seen such a player in a Tottenham shirt. His enthusiasm is unquestionable and the real joy is he delivers. His first goal was brave as well as textbook in it’s execution, his second smacked of the direction this club needs to consistently head in if it is to stand any credible chance of achieving it’s goals.

I know I’m gushing, but we have been waiting for just such a player as VdV. He has intelligence, ability and desire by the bucketful. So many have come close, but this is the real deal.
