West Ham United fans have debated the comments made by out of sorts forward Javier Hernandez over his future plans.
In an interview with Marca this week, the Mexican confirmed that leaving the East London club in January remains a big possibility after failing to crack the nod in Manuel Pellegrini’s team.
Hernandez, who signed for the Hammers in 2017 from German outfit Bayer Leverkusen, has been in and out of Pellegrini’s first team this season as the manager struggles to find his best starting XI.
The 30-year-old admitted that despite being happy West Ham, he would like to play as much as possible and that an exit in either January or next summer could very well happen.
Here is how some of the West Ham fans reacted on Twitter to his comments, with most of them not too bothered if he does decide to leave:
Tbh, I’m ready for him to go. He doesn’t contribute that much, and if you can get a decent price for him, take it.

He didn’t say nothing wrong, he said he likes it at West Ham but wants more playing time, I’d be more worried if he was happy sitting on the bench
