Many West Ham fans are hoping the club keep hold of young prospect Josh Cullen after the Daily Mail has reported that many clubs are interested in signing the midfielder.
Cullen is currently on loan at Championship side Charlton Athletic and has been since the start of last season, where he helped the side gain promotion from League One (Transfermarkt). The Addicks are currently fighting for survival in the second tier and sit 22nd in the league, but are only 2 points from the team above them (BBC Sport).
This season, the central midfielder has played 25 times and provided one assist and scored one goal, whilst he also averages 1.6 key passes, 1.8 tackles and 1.5 clearances per game (SofaScore).
Currently, fellow Premier League sides AFC Bournemouth and Norwich City reportedly want the player, whilst first and second in the Championship, Leeds and West Brom, are also interested.
Due to the interest, West Ham recently extended the Irish midfielder’s contract until 2021, and some fans are hoping the player can be of good use to the first team next season.
