Several West Ham United supporters are calling for the club to sack Manuel Pellegrini and replace him with Rafa Benitez following their 3-1 defeat against Arsenal.
The Hammers sunk to a seventh defeat in nine Premier League matches against the Gunners (Transfermarkt) and, as a result, quite a few fans have lost faith in the Chilean manager.
Ironically, Benitez was in the Sky Sports studio as a pundit covering the game alongside Jamie Carragher.
The Spaniard admitted on air that whilst he would love to return to the Premier League in the future, there was “no chance” he would be back anytime soon as he is happy in China (Sky Sports).
However, despite ruling out the possibility of a return to England at the moment, that hasn’t stopped several West Ham fans from calling for him to be appointed as their new manager in place of Pellegrini.
Plenty of them believe that the ex-Newcastle manager would do a much better job than Pellegrini, with some impressed with his analysis as a pundit.

I questioned Benitez’s passion when he went to China but listening to him now, I was wrong! he still seems to have that passion and drive. Gone up to my first choice after hearing his analysis. Anyone bit Pellegrini for me. He’ll get the Southampton game because he beat Chelsea
