Without a win in eight games in all competitions, the Telegraph recently reported that those behind the scenes at the club had held crunch talks about his future with names such as Chris Hughton touted as a potential replacement. Indeed, the Hammers face tough trips to Chelsea and Wolves in the next two games before welcoming Arsenal to the London Stadium, so it’s not as if things are getting any easier.

Despite spending big money over the course of the summer, things are looking bleak for those in claret and blue at the moment but, despite the managerial reports, a club insider yesterday revealed the former Manchester City manager took training as normal.

Ex WHU Employee on Twitter delivered the news to a number of frustrated West Ham fans and some of the reaction was fierce to say the least. With that in mind, here’s a closer look at it.
