Sky Sports reporter Dharmesh Sheth has now shared an exciting update on West Ham United and their pursuit of Chelsea striker Armando Broja.

The Lowdown: Moyes set for busy summer?

After securing Morocco international Nayef Aguerd, the Irons have shown absolutely no sign of stopping there, and reports suggest that manager David Moyes wants 'at least' six new additions in total thos summer.

A very interesting Premier League season could be upon the east Londoners, with GSB and head of recruitment Rob Newman expected to be 'very busy' before the start of 2022/23.

Of the targets mentioned, former Southampton loanee Broja is believed to be of serious interest, and Sheth has shared quite the promising update.

The Latest: Sheth makes Broja transfer claim...

According to the reporter, sharing news live-on-air to Sky Sports on Tuesday afternoon, West Ham appear set to make moves concerning the Albania international, who has seemingly been on the Irons' radar for a long time.

He explained: "Another player, that was emerging yesterday, they expect to make their interest in the Chelsea striker Armando Broja, they expect to make that official soon - is the word that I've been told.

"There is a long-standing interest in Broja. West Ham actually tried to sign him in the January transfer window, he of course enjoyed a successful loan spell from Chelsea to Southampton last season.

"His valuation we're told is upwards of around £25 million."

The Verdict: Get it done?

Still only 20 years old, Broja has already proven that he can cut among the top flight's elite, netting six Premier League goals last term, and he even terrorised Moyes' side in both the FA Cup and top flight earlier this year.

West Ham players and staff were apparently dazzled by the striker's ability when coming up against him, and we believe that the colossal 6 foot 3 target man could be a major asset for Moyes, especially for a fee of £25m.
