According to ExWHUemployee, Real Madrid outcast Luka Jovic is an option for GSB and West Ham United in January – coming as potentially massive transfer news given he has been touted as a striker ‘like Luis Suarez‘.
Jovic is an attacker who could be made available to the Hammers as David Moyes contemplates strengthening his ranks during the January transfer window – with Arkadiusz Milik of Napoli also touted as a viable transfer target.
West Ham swoop for Jovic touted
These two strikers, in particular, described as ‘big hitters‘ by the club insider, fit GSB’s current buying policy due to their wage demands and they could well fit the West Ham structure.
The club would apparently be ‘keen‘ on snapping up either Jovic or Milik this month but they will face stiff competition from abroad for their signatures.
Other targets who could be made available are Joshua King of Bournemouth, with ExWHUemployee touting him as the ‘obvious‘ target for Moyes.
Meanwhile, Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud is also on the radar and is ‘aware‘ of West Ham’s interest – however, he is more likely to become an out-and-out replacement for Diego Costa at Atletico Madrid.
Transfer Tavern take
With the Hammers seemingly having no shortage of strikers to potentially swoop for in January, Galacticos forward Jovic, who has been likened to Suarez, would certainly turn a few heads if GSB were to in fact compete for his signing.
Unwanted by Zinedine Zidane, West Ham could potentially snap him up on loan, with temporary deals for players from abroad entirely possible despite the club currently reaching their maximum capacity for domestic loans.
It remains to be seen whether the Irons complete this move, but it has now emerged as a potentially viable option.
