West Ham United: Fans flock to club’s post regarding Jarrod Bowen

Fans of West Ham United have been reacting to a post on Twitter, in which the club commented on the performance of Jarrod Bowen in their 2-1 victory over Leeds United on Friday.

Since joining West Ham from Hull City in what was a £19.17 million deal back in January, Bowen has gone on to feature 25 times for the Hammers, scoring five goals and providing six assists along the way.

So far this season, the £25.2 million-rated 23-year-old has highly impressed for David Moyes’ side, scoring four goals and providing two assists over his 12 Premier League appearances, averaging a WhoScored match rating of 6.88 – ranking him as the club’s seventh-best performer in the top flight.

The right-winger was again one of the stand out performers for West Ham in their recent 2-1 victory over Leeds, a game in which Bowen had three shots, made four key passes, completed one dribble, won two free-kicks and provided one assist, culminating in a WhoScored match rating of 7.71 – ranking him as the second-best player on the pitch in the fixture.

And, as a result of his fine display, the official West Ham United Twitter account posted a tweet airing their delight regarding the 23-year-old, something which many fans of the club flocked to have their say on.
