According to a report from the Daily Mirror, via West Ham Transfers, The Hammers are looking to re-sign polarising ex-striker Marko Arnautovic on loan in January – prompting many Irons to erupt as this ‘shocking news’ emerges.
Arnautovic, who left east London unceremoniously in the summer of 2019, moving to the Chinese Super League after forcing an exit, could return to the Premier League in a surprise swoop by the club.
Should West Ham re-sign Marko Arnautovic?
Yes, please get it done
No, not a chance
The Austrian attacker is apparently at the centre of interest from West Ham, who want to recapture him on loan, coming as GSB and co hunt for a new striker who can provide strength in depth.
Club record signing Sebastien Haller has been heavily relied upon this season following consistent injuries to preferred alternative Michail Antonio, with January coming as an opportunity to seal much-needed additions.
However, these Irons in particular certainly don’t want to see a return for Arnautovic – as many supporters blast this news on social media.
