Though this season has looked so promising at times this season, the Liverpool fans propping up the bar have been rocked this afternoon.
Following the disappointing draw with Bournemouth earlier this week, the Reds’ top-four hopes took a battering and the bad news does not seem to stop there.
Manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed Sadio Mane will miss the rest of the season with a knee injury, with his side previously having struggled in his absence. As if that wasn’t enough, brilliant Brazilian Philippe Coutinho is a doubt for this weekend’s game with Stoke City.
Coupling those ailments with injuries to England international duo Adam Lallana and Jordan Henderson, it’s fair to say the punters in the bar have been plunged into meltdown.
In perhaps the most competitive season to finish in the Champions League the Premier League has ever seen, so many injuries have depleted the first-team a huge amount.
