News just in that Avaram Grant is very close to making a return to Stamford Bridge.
It is not believed that he will be appointed manager. The suggestion is that he will operate in the Ray Wilkins role. The difference being that Grant is truly regarded as ‘one of the gang’ whereas Ray was not and consequently accused of ruffling feathers shortly before being suddenly sacked.
