Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing how far their season can go with them in good form as we enter the business end.
Of course, it’s highly unlikely that the Villans will find themselves in the play-off places come May but there is every opportunity for them to be in the top six next season if they get things right.
That, of course, is going to come down to Steve Bruce getting decisions right and the players performing but there is a real suggestion now that both is happening.
Indeed, Bruce is starting to get some of his players back after a horrible spate of injuries with the latest being Rushian Hepburn-Murphy.
He confirmed on his Twitter account that he was back in training and, naturally, Villa fans were quick to react.
