Three Premier League clubs are interested in signing Wolves midfielder Adama Traore, according to reports.
Traore to leave Molineux?
The 24-year-old’s future at Molineux has been uncertain for some time after new contract talks allegedly stalled over the Spaniard’s lack of game time.
Traore has started just 11 Premier League games this season and is yet to provide any goal contributions for Nuno Espirito Santo’s side in the top flight, featuring seven times as a substitute (Whoscored).
Despite this, the Spain international has gained the respect of his direct opponents. Liverpool right-back and England star Trent Alexander-Arnold passed huge praise onto Traore, previously telling Goal that he left him feeling “powerless” after coming up against him.
Transfer Tavern Verdict
It would a foolish move if Wolves were to listen to offers midway through the season, and they would be better off to wait until the summer before taking any action.
However, the prospect of playing for one of the Premier League’s top clubs may be too good to turn down – only if the right offer comes in for Traore.
It appears to be a game of chess at this time, with no certainty as to who will make the next move. The longer the stance from both parties remains the same, the more whispers will emerge on the horizon.
In other news, 53-goal striker compared to Luis Suarez rejected Wolves.
