Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern really are enjoying themselves at the moment and you can certainly understand why that is the case.
The men from Villa Park haven’t had much to cheer in recent years but they look to be getting back on track with Steve Bruce and Dr. Tony Xia doing a good job so far.
For sure, the signing of John Terry has boosted morale and many expect Villa to get promoted come the end of the campaign.
Xia, in particular, has been quick to ensure that he is interacting with the fans as much as possible on things like Twitter to ensure transparency and he’s certainly done that again concerning Jordan Veretout’s future.
Indeed, he’s hinted that the player might just stay at the club after all and so here is the reaction to that:
