Our Aston Villa fans here in the Transfer Tavern are eager to see what their side can do in the summer with them hoping for some real marquee names to arrive.
Of course, the club is limited by the fact that they are in the Championship in terms of who they can bring in but the fact that they are still one of the biggest clubs about should help negate that.
Indeed, many players are going to be eager to take on the challenge of getting Villa back into the top flight whilst Steve Bruce and Dr. Tony Xia also have their part to play on the recruitment side of things.
Indeed, Xia has recently met Roberto Carlos – as per his Twitter account – though it might be a bit late to sign him, even if fans were still quick to react to the images:
